The set's story drops Trainers into the heart of a crisis: Mega Floette ex — AZ's long-lost companion — has become something far more dangerous than a symbol of eternal life and grief, spreading chaos through the streets of Lumiose City. It falls on Mega Greninja ex to rally the other Mega Evolution Pokémon and hold back the darkness before Lumiose falls entirely.
