Terms and Conditions
1. About Us
This website is operated by Greenest Grass Limited, trading as The Collectors Emporium, an independent UK-based retailer of trading cards and collectibles.
Greenest Grass Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 12756554.
Registered office: 83 Hughenden Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL4 9QN
Email: info@thecollectorsemporium.com
2. Use of the Website
By using our site, you agree to:
- Use the website for lawful purposes only
- Not copy or misuse product listings or images
- Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the website’s security
3. Products & Pricing
All products are sold as described. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). We aim to keep pricing and availability accurate, but errors may occur. Where an order has been placed at a clearly incorrect price or an item is unavailable, we will contact you before dispatch and offer the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling the order for a full refund.
4. Orders & Payments
Orders are only confirmed once payment is received. You will receive an order confirmation by email. All payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers; we do not store your payment details.
5. Shipping
Shipping information is provided in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
6. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must tell us you wish to cancel within that 14-day period — by email to info@thecollectorsemporium.com, or by using the model cancellation form below. You then have a further 14 days from notifying us to return the goods.
Refunds: We will refund the price of the goods plus the cost of standard outbound delivery (if you chose a premium delivery option, we refund the standard rate). Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back, or of you providing proof of postage, whichever is earlier.
Handling and diminished value: You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. If the value of the goods is reduced because of handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics — for example, opening sealed booster packs, boxes or other sealed collectible products — we may deduct an amount reflecting that reduction in value from your refund.
Return costs: Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning them.
Model cancellation form (complete and return only if you wish to cancel):
To Greenest Grass Limited, trading as The Collectors Emporium (info@thecollectorsemporium.com):
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods: [description]
Ordered on / received on: [date]
Name of consumer: [name]
Address of consumer: [address]
Date: [date]
7. Faulty or Incorrect Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us and we will offer a replacement or full refund, including return postage costs. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Intellectual Property
All product names, logos, and images remain the property of their respective owners and are used for reference only. We do not claim any official affiliation with the brands sold.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter for which liability cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. The goods we sell are supplied for domestic and private use, and we have no liability for any loss of profit or business.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the part of the UK in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that part of the UK.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. The terms in force at the time of your order are the terms that apply to it.
